Larry
and Pam were married in May of 2001. Larry was a "non-horse
person" before meeting Pam. Pam had been involved with Appaloosas
since the mid 70's and still owned the ApHC stallion, Bright Centerfold,
along with two older broodmares. While surfing the web one day,
Pam discovered miniature horses and found out that they were available
in "appaloosa patterns." So since Pam and Larry are, shall
we say, over 50, they decided that these "little horses"
would be a whole lot easier to handle, not to mention that they
would eat a lot less! So they bought their first miniature mare,
who happened to be bred to a miniature appaloosa, in August of 2001.
And, as they say, "You can't have just ONE mini!" The
herd grew from there. They now have two miniature appaloosa stallions,
several broodmares, and some young stock.
